The Lucas Oil is an octane booster, went into the gas tank. Should have written it more clearly. As Chris mentioned previously, the misfires might be coming on because the injectors are firing rich. I reckon it is either the valvetrain being a little loose or it is the leaky intake gaskets. Why do you think you were getting the misfires after adding the additive to the oil James?
I dunno, just know that it has negative trims always and leaky intake gaskets. I'm tired!James,
I always thought unmeasured air from an intake leak would result in a positive LTFT not negative.
I could do that some day. It’s snowy today so all I would do is spin.I dunno, just know that it has negative trims always and leaky intake gaskets. I'm tired!
Hey George, what do you think about making a 1st gear pull and graphing it out?
Yeah, that would be a problem!I could do that some day. It’s snowy today so all I would do is spin.
So, engine torque through 1st gear?Yeah, that would be a problem!
Yes, the very first chart included 1st and 2nd. Then removed 2nd gear data, incidentally, torque was higher in 2nd, horsepower essentially the same. So, engine torque through 1st gear?
