Wondering how people made out with using the triple chrome plated
ABS products. For instance I'm looking at rain guards, mirror covers and
door handles. Do they only look good for a short period of time ? Tend to blister, peel or yellow quicker that you would want ? SES Trim was one manufacturer where I say these accessories. Any other manufacts. you would recomend.

Thanks in Advance

Not sure about that particular product line, but most of the chrome on vehicles these days is actually chrome plated plastics. It has a huge weight savings and, should, save repair costs in accidents, etc. If this company is plating things like they do for OEM's, it should hold up pretty well.

I had the chrome door handles until someone broke in a wrecked the lock-set on the drivers door. When I replaced them I went with factory chrome handles all around. They looked OK until then, but the actual factory chrome handles look worlds better. I also have chrome on the rear hatch handle and the license plate light cover and it is peeling and blistering. It looks like crap but until I buy a replacement it will have to do because the nasty gunk they use to install will have certainly ruined the paint finish. I also have the mirror covers and they look just OK as they are starting to look chipped with rock chips.
IMO get the mirror covers if you have the cheesy black plastic looking mirrors and you can get a high quality chromed piece.
I'm not sure of the brand that is on my truck as it was on it from the previous owner.
