China's version of "FedEx"..
Thanks but I think wider shelves would be more useful and I'm guessing 20" shelves are going to be pretty expensive but maybe an AV cart like some suggested would be an option.Would getting/creating a good set of metal shelves and then adding quality casters work. Seems like it might be an easier route to make shelves, then make them mobile.
We use these at work and have way over loaded them and the last for years.

I have a Craftsman rolling tool chest that would serve that purpose so a step down is the intent.I used to have an open shelf tool cart but I found that during a job, I would fill it quickly. Organizing all bolts/nuts that I removed and laying in components that are removed. For that, anything that has 2 shelves and 4 casters would work, depending on size and ability to handle weight, like @mountie said. I ended up getting a larger 5 drawer US General roll around tool cabinet with the top that is exposed when lid is unlocked and raised. The wrenches and sockets/ratchets, that I use the most, are in that cabinet and I can roll it up to my work easily. It also has a bottom shelf that I store fluids and lubricants that I use during jobs, too.
I have this.... nearly an antique.... An old style audio-visual cart. heavy duty, a locking cabinet, wheels w/a brake, and a powerstrip. Top shelf is 38" high, 24" x 18".I used to have an open shelf tool cart but I found that during a job, I would fill it quickly.
