Found this vaccum? Hose hanging on the passenger side of the transmission. Any idea where its supposed to attach to? I've been having some downshift issues and maybe this is the reason. Thanks

I've done every oil change for the last 5 years and never noticed it before. Should it be attached to something?Looks like a vent hose to me. These transmissions don't use vacuum (not directly) to determine shift characteristics.
It is a vent. It is lower in case it has got to dump, such as when over heating.Found this vaccum? Hose hanging on the passenger side of the transmission. Any idea where its supposed to attach to? I've been having some downshift issues and maybe this is the reason. Thanks

you can zip tie it up higher if you like, it is designed to let air out and NOT let water/dirt etc in
