I have just add a steel cowl hood. It was used, so I am uncertain of its history. I had to have the hinges cut and re-welded to lower the back of the hood down where it belongs. Came out great. Now I have an issue with the driver's side fender. When I got the truck it was a little bit lower than it should be (even with stock hood). I can tell it has been re-painted as there are some sags in the paint that can be seen in some angles. They even re-pin stripped the fender as it sits. There is a tell-tale sign it is the fender as there is an angle lower on the door where the fender and hood should align. There I can tell it is about .25" off. Now to the main question... Is there a diagram somewhere which shows the steps to aligning the fender, or a diagram / tutorial showing where the mounting holes are located? I hate to remove 50 bolts to find I only needed to do a couple. Does anybody have experience with this? I anticipate enlarging some of the mount holes and possibly adding some shims.
