Very odd electrical issue

I have a 1994 yukon gt, and I am not sure what the kid that had it before me did under the dash, but there are some issues. The windshield wipers will only work if the abs light is on. The abs light is not on all the time, I have to get on it or hit a bump just right...it's irritating. I'm curious if there's a specific plug or area I can check out for a short or crossed wire? I've checked most of the wiring for the wiper motor, and all appears fine. Haven't a clue about the abs though other than it works.

Tilt column?? Issues are with the wires in tehre, I bet there is a short. My lights only worked on high for a while and the airbag light is on ... I can see the bad airbag wire, not sure on my lights I reversed them behind the grille long ago.
