So my steering wheel shakes back and forth, as if i have warped rotors, but I can guarantee you theyre not warped, considering theyre new. It was worse b4, so i know it helped, but what else could be causing this? I'm getting tires and an alignment on friday, so im hoping thatll help cuz my tires are GONE.

just a few other notes,

Its the same in 4 or 2 wheel drive, and It seems to stop if im turning.

thoughts?

It shakes when you step on the brakes or when you are just driving down the road? If the problem is when you step on the brakes then I would say it's brake related. Otherwise, if you say your tires are gone than that would be a major player in your problem. After that the ball joints need to be inspected. Next would be the steering speed sensor, steering gear, pitman arm and idler arm.

stearing sensor is more of a stering feeling that goes from tight to really loose as you are driving. This does not sound like that, but you bring up a good point in asking if it happens under braking or not

Probably just need balanced and an alignment. May also want to rotate the tires as well.

forgot to mention that i've basically ruled out brake related problems. I'm leaning towards pitman arm right now, but Im gettin tires tomorrow, so that should help. I pulled in today, noticing the tread is falling off my pass side front.

it also seems to work itself out after driving for a while.

I'm hoping to be able to get her on a lift sometime soon, im not in the mood for jackstands. anyone replace their pitman arm? what am i looking at price wise, and how much of a ***** is it to do?
