VIN Decoder!!

If you're like me, I like to know as much about my rig as possible...recently I needed alt output.

Below is a link to VIN decoder I found pretty useful.

Here was the conclusion from mine:
"There are 138 1999 TAHOE CLASSIC 4 DR 1/2 TON vehicles (0.033%) matching your exact options list. There are 238 (0.057%) with at least as many options."

How "rare" is everyone elses???

Ya but that sticky is in the 2000-2006 general section.
We're in the OBS section. I know that I never check the other sections.

Can't give a guy heck about a sticky in some other section now can ya?

there are 7 exact matches for mine. i have a rare truck, so they say

Mine came back with "There are 1 1996 BLAZER 1/2 TON vehicles (0.006%) matching your exact options list. There are 31 (0.189%) with at least as many options"

How come it says my truck is a blazer but on the body is says tahoe?...

My car is really common, why does this indicate that it's rare?
If you parked your car next to one of the hundreds or thousands of similar cars in our database you probably couldn't tell them apart, but that doesn't mean they aren't different.

For example, some may have an RPO listing for the plant in which they were built. If yours was one of only a few that came out of that plant with a given list of options, it would come back as rare. Another car may have all the same options but was built at a different facility and thusly it's considered different.
