Up for sale is a viper alarm out of a Tahoe. I bought it about 6 months ago off another member and never got around to getting it installed.

Whats the Model # on that one? Ive spent the last couplke days looking at Sonic Electronix and reading up on the Vipers and a few other brands.

I think its the 5701, the last person didnt specify. It has remote start and is 2-way

Im not sure, I had a guy who was gonna do it for 80. Im sure you can find a writeup somewhere.

I have that same alarm in my truck. The instillation is not as bad as people make it out to be. Just take your time and make the proper connections. Also, if you get a dball unit, it makes the instillation ALOT easier, as it eliminates half of the wire you need to connect. You will also need this if you have the chip in your keys.
