Hello,

I have 2 visor monitors (driver & passenger) as it is right now, they don't power up. I've pulled the A pillars on both driver and passenger sides. The only thing I've found is 2 wires (see pic) and the wires look like they are speaker wire. Question is how can I make them work?I'm not sure they might be connected to the factory over head DVD, and all I need to do is power them up. If anyone can help that would be great.

You are right, they do look like speaker wire. You need to figure out where those wires go. Most likely, someone used those wires for ground and 12V (positive). There has to be a video signal there as well so it looks like you are missing a video (input) wire. It sounds like you didn't install these yourself. Were they working at one time?

I see a 'grounding lug" and a spade , so these apparently were tapped into power and ground under the kick somewhere.

i would trace those wires up to see where they lead... you might find your video feed along the way. i would also test with a battery to see if all they need is power.
