Ordered the 5202_10_XB_W_5K replacement led bulbs from the recommendation of a post on here.

VLEDS webpage list this as a replacement for the PSX26W also.

These DO NOT fit a 2015i version of the Yukon. I'm in the process of returning them and waiting to hear from VLED as to what is going on.

The OEM bulbs have PSX26W and another number G403R printed on the bulbs. These bulbs have 3 tabs that twist lock about 1/4 of a turn into the housing to secure.

The bulbs that were sent have 2 tabs and push straight in to lock.

Buyer beware and check what style you have. If you have to return them, there is a 15% restock fee. So I'm out 9 bucks and return shipping.

Take a look through my thread on this:

http://tahoeyukonforum.com/forum/showthread.php?t=62925

You'll see we ran into the same thing at the end and it also has a link to the correct bulbs.

I would recommend to PM the OP of the post you followed that VLEDS link to and ask them to do the same as I did to my original post (documenting that the 2015i uses a different bulb)

Yes those are the correct ones.

And that is why I bought mine off of Amazon (and everything else I buy).

Even the Amazon has it wrong.

This is going to be hard for the aftermarket people...NAPA, AutoZone, etc, when these vehicles get to be 5-10 years old and people start to repair/replace items.

Is there a list of major/minor items that have been changed with the "i" compared to the early 2015 build? Also where did the "i" designation come from? Is it a standard designation or something that was created here? Salesman doesn't know of it, but then again, he is a salseman. It took us 10 minutes setting in the dark with doors open to find out where the curiosity light switch (the one by the sunroof/rear hatch release buttons). My last knowledge of this was a button down by the headlight switch. Which it still should be.

While I'm on a rant of the new 2015 60k$ machine, what happened to the underhood light, the emergency light that had the magnetic base with enough cord to reach the left rear tire, the glove box light and the rear cargo light? But hey, it has a worthless sunglass holder and some damn mirror that works just like the passenger side door mirror...OBJECTS IN MIRROR ARE CLOSER THAN THEY APPEAR. It might work good in Jurassic Park, but is totally worthless for looking at poeple in the backseats.

Yeah I don't put much stock into those application guides. I am in the professional auto repair industry and things like this are exactly as you said - a HUGE NUISANCE trying to find the correct parts with mid-year changes.

I also talked of such a list of "undocumented" changes in my other thread. This as an example, painted roof antenna, etc.

The i was an official designation from GM in press releases. Has an official "built after" date. That is how those parts will be listed years from now - before or after certain date.

Wanted to give a shout out to Vleds.

Big thumbs up to the company. I thought I'd have a restocking fee of 15%. Well, reading the fine print if I return something and put the order number of the correct items on the return page, they would wave the restocking fee and credit your card a person used to purchase the 1st invoice, if they received your returned items in 30 days.

No problems, no hassles.
