Recent issue with the truck that I have noticed...whenever my turn signal is on, my battery voltage drops like 2 or 3 volts and it pulses in sync with the signal? Battery is newish(2 or 3 months) My thought is maybe a short to ground somewhere? Any ideas? Its not affecting anything, just annoying...

that's what is happening to me with the passenger signal but it's blowing the turn signal fuse. i've replaced bulbs, flasher and circuit boards. when i use that signal, the dash lights will dim, the radio will cut out and the head lights dim and bam, fuse blows. if you find out what it is, let me know.

Have you replaced anything in that area lately before this problem started?

wire

if you replaced all that stuff and its still there it sound like a wire problem pull your radio and double check the wiring to make sure theres no crossed or loose wire making contact with something its not supossed to.

i'm going to check where it grounds to the frame and clean that up a little and replace all of the pig tails on that side and see what happens. last thing i'm going to try is just jumping the existing wiring and see if that does it. if not, it's probably the signal switch in the steering column, which i've heard is a PITA and should be done by a professional. we'll see.
