Ok so I installed my new cam in my 5.3 LMG that I'm doing a DOD delete in. I used a L9H cam (12711967) to retain VVT and have spec's close to what my truck had stock. My question is if any one has any advice or experience with the cam phaser install and alignment. I've been freaking out since I installed it after reading a couple of horror stories where people have installed them incorrectly with the alignment pin not engaged, and doing some serious damage to their engine. I will say when I tightened the cam bolt, I did noticed the cam and phaser kinda suck together for lack of a better term towards the end of the tightening. Any advice would be helpful.

@ls1frc has done this recently. Hopefully he’ll chime in. Haven’t seen him in a little while.
