Hey guys,
I know many of you know a lot of this but I feel like this is great information on what you can personally do to get those extra few MPG's.
Heres a copy/paste and the link:

1)
Reduce the weight on your 2007 Chevy Tahoe. Because your SUV is already a large vehicle, any additional weight will put a severe strain on your engine. As a result of the extra workload on your engine, your gas mileage will suffer. Therefore, remove all unnecessary cargo and uninstall or replace aftermarket accessories.
2)
Use your Tahoe's cruise control when it's feasible. When driving on open, flat expanses of highway, set your cruise control so that your Tahoe is traveling at or below 60 mph. This will allow your engine to steadily run at an even RPM and thereby increase your fuel efficiency. Also, because of the Tahoe's size, speeds above 60 mph will put an extra burden on the engine and drastically diminish gas mileage.
3)
Accelerate slowly when driving your Tahoe. Once again, due to the Tahoe's size, rapid acceleration wastes fuel as the engine struggles to propel the vehicle's massive weight forward. Similarly, slamming on the brakes will waste gas. Anticipate your stops and gradually coast to a standstill, using your brakes sparingly.
4)
Do not place objects on the exterior of your Tahoe. GM made great efforts to improve the aerodynamics of the 2007 Tahoe, redesigning its air dam, grill and windshield. These improvements can be completely undone by adding unnecessary exterior lighting or grill guards or hauling cargo on the roof of the Tahoe.
5)
Read your Tahoe's owner's manual and adhere to a regular maintenance schedule. You should remind your mechanic to check the Tahoe's fuel injection system, fuel filter and spark plugs. If any of these parts are not working correctly, your fuel efficiency will be limited. Also, change your Tahoe's oil every few thousand miles, replacing it with a low-viscosity oil or premium synthetic. When you switch out your oil, remember to check the Tahoe's air filter. If it's dirty, replace it. A clogged air filter will reduce gas mileage.
