I currently have 3.73 gears

Willing to trade

It's a good bit of work for a very minimal change to be honest. I would save the time and effort for something better. If you were changing from 4.10 It might be worth it, but not from 3.73 to 3.42.

It's a matter of opinion. If I can find a donor vehicle or somebody that wants to swap I'd be happy.

Guys spend a lot more for lifts and tires with no gain.

I will realize probably 2 mpg but in addition I will get years of an engine running at lower rpms.

Thanks for the chart. I'm currently running 265/70R17 OEM tires off a 2003?
I think OEM for the 95 Tahoe was 245/75R16

I put 800,000 miles on my 89. I may have the Tahoe for the rest of my life.

Might even have it for a year or 2.

Which ever comes first.

The Tahoe is in very good condition except for the drivers door which was replaced with a used door after the daughter did a little number to it. Kind of ticked me off as that door is the only rust on the vehicle.

I am also looking for a NO rust drivers door. Prferably green with gold bottom that was popular in 95.

And the fiberglass piece that goes under the grill.

I missed out on a Tahoe already for $1200 that I could have swapped parts even up and resold.

Not so much labor involved and I would have had what I wanted for a cheap price.
