Oem Springs are gonna be worse depending on the shocks the truck originally had. Mine had nivomats which had built in springs so when I just replaced my stock shocks with Bilsteins my truck lowered 2 inches in the rear. I had to order the matching Bilstein Springs to get the ride height back and load handling and the truck still sits about an inch lower than stock.

I think stock z71 springs may be what you need from a non premium ride truck.
