Friend of mine told me about your forum and suggested I have a look around, I am now the proud owner of a 2006 GMC Yukon SLT. I am new to owning an SUV but have always loved the look and power of them. Mine is bone stock, but I hope to change that with some help from all of you and the money that I buried in my back yard a long time ago . I have lots of ideas about what I want to do, but maybe you all have a suggestion as far as a good jumping off point. Thanks everyone

Steve

Welcome to the forum.

Let's start with new rims and tires, Eacalade Roof Rack as well as rear vent caps. :)

Some do of course lower or raise their rigs, I myself prefer to stay at stock height.

Wheels and tires are definitely going on ASAP. Is there a particular brand or type I should be looking for? Being a full sized suv I don't wanna get something that will break of I chose to take it off road a little.

This might be a dumb question, but what does the SLT signify on my Yukon. I know the difference in models, but is the SLT middle of the road or entry level SUV. Just curious. Like I said I am really new to the SUV world... thanks again everyone.

Slt is a mid level Yukon. Mine includes leather, power seats, sunroof, rear seat entertainment, bose radio, and tow package too. It's between the LS and the Denali. Looks like yours actually has 00-06 Denali wheels on it already.

What is the question in regards to the Escalade Roof Rack?

Look at my pictures in my albums and you will see the difference of the ESKY Rack compared to the stock one. ESKY looks much nicer in my opinion.

No modifications are needed other than just bolting the ESKY Rack on the roof after removing your stock rack. All bolt patterns match.
