I have a 2000 Yukon Denali and my front washer fluid pump intermittently works. I figure its a sign that the pump is going to fail soon. I can't seem to figure out how the tank comes out for this model though. I have see all over the internet how to take it out if the battery is by it but on my truck the battery is on the passenger side and the wheel well is all metal. The tank itself doesn't even look like any of the ones online. It has a clear tube that goes into a black box (what i assume to be the reservoir).

Anyone ever seen one of these?

I just recently changed my fluid tank and both pumps, but all is on the driver side on my '04 Yukon.

All I did was remove the battery AND battery tray, then all bolts were easily accessible in order to remove the tank.

Yeah, I saw many videos on how to do just that but in my case there is no battery blocking the reservoir because its on the other side of the truck but i can't seem to locate any bolts that hold it in and i can't easily pop the wheel well cover off because it is all metal and screwed in. I thought maybe there was a different way of getting this one out.

I think i have fixed my problem. Apparently on the late 90's 1500 trucks, (which i believe is the base for the yukon) the wiper module had bad solder connections and the fix was to go in and re-melt the solder to re-do the connection. I did that and it works now so I don't have to pull the reservoir out to get to the pump!

Glad you were able to fix the issue.
