Water in Rear????

also check the 3rd brake light. i'm currently putting everything back together but i had water leaking from the 3rd brake light and the top weather stripping wasnt sealing all the way. it soaked all the way up to the front and i had to rip out all the insulation. best thing to do is just rip out the interior and run a hose across the outside and to the areas you think may leak. that will tell you where to start at least

I have a 2 dr Tahoe w/ lift-gate and have a leak in the rear right side that I can't seem to find. I change the weather stripping on back, both of them and sealed the luggage rack with black 3m weatherstripping adhesive. I pulled the headliner to see where it was leaking. I thought it was the side window seal. Its not, its leaking between the roof and side spot weld seam so it indicates somewhere in the roof?
So if yours is not leaking at the gaskets I'd pull the headliner down enough to see if it is leaking at the top mounted light or the luggage rack mounting.
