I have 99 with the barn doors. I noticed the other day while cleaning it, the carpet area near the doors was wet. Obviously the seal leaked, however it appears to be in good shape with no cuts. Anyone else experience anything like this? As always, Thanks guys/gals.

yes I have....once though. Only once. Had the truck over a year now, I never figured it out other than I assumed I didn't shut it all the way.

Two ways to try and figure it out and I've never tried either, just read these.

1) put a little baby powdser on the seals, close the doors and break out a hose and see if it leaks, if the powder is washed away in a spot you know where to start

2) I read that you can turn the vents on full and shut the doors and windows and this is just slightly pressurize the truck...again I only read this. Then get some dish soap / water solution and pour it around the doors. if the cabin is pressurized you may see a bubble(s) where the air is escaping.

Good luck and I hope this helps. If it does please let us know. It's too cold here most days to break out the hose

^^I like the baby powder idea. Also, check the seal around your third brake light.

It appears i have fixed the problem, $160 bones later. I bought a new seal from GM for $130 plus tax and that did NOT fix the problem. After installing the seal, I poured water in the channel at the top of the truck and watched as some of it pooled on the inside of the hoe. The solution, 3M weatherstrip adhesive, $10 plus tax, at the base of the seal, in the channel of the seal itself, on the both sides where it curves toward the bottom. This was most likely the problem in the first place. DOH!! Nice and dry now. Just have to dry out the carpet. Thanks for the input guys. Hope this helps someone else.
