Couldn't you just blow air thru the tube at the top to empty is and see if that makes any difference?

Might be able to find the exit that way too, or run string trimmer line from the top and see where it exits, and then see if it’s in a place where air will blow up it when at speed.

This is what I'm worried about! It seems the problems will just increase once headliners and door trims are removed. Cheap plastic is never the same once removed. Maybe I'll reconsider and stick to my "foam" fixes.

One thing is that the sound changes from left to right if I make a turn. So there must be left and right side drains.
If I park for a while, then drive the sound is gone. So I definitely think that wind is blowing up into the lines preventing water from draining. Lucky that water isn't pouring into the headliner!! Or maybe I better check for wet spots, because I had to spray cologne in cabin to hide smells. Just blamed it on my kids, but could be musty water smell.

You know what they say- never buy the first production year. There’s a few things that the 2021’s are suffering from, add this to the list. Hopefully GM will get these issues figured out by the next model year. Until then, a few visits to the dealer will be in order.

I missed your first post where you provided the TSB. Very Helpful. However, people in the 2021 forum really don’t want to hear about buying the first model year. We did. That is why we are in the 2021 forum looking for answers or hopefully some mods/aftermarket accessories.

All I said was that you should expect these things since it’s a new model year, it’s an obvious observation although not everybody knows. It still deserves to be mentioned, if not for you then maybe somebody else who might be here thinking about buying. There’s still people who buy the first production year and are surprised with all the new issues. Sorry if you don’t want to hear that. I’m here because even though I don’t have a 2021 I can still be of help at times. You’re welcome for the link to the TSB although it was @B520044 that got me headed that direction.

Yeah, I know all about first model years. I go through a lot of new cars. It's my kryptonite. Just over the last 6 years I've had 2014 grand Cherokee, 2015 Genesis sedan, 2016 F150 with the 2.7L ecoboost, 2017 Nissan Titan, 2016 Expedition, 2019 Ram 1500 and now the 2021 Yukon. I really, really want to make this one stick around.

Out of those vehicles the most reliable was the Genesis and Titan. Not a single recall or TSB that I had to bring in for. Of course I didn't keep them long, but all the rest have been extremely problematic. Hell the F150 was the worst. The engine smoked bad at startup and the interior sounded like it was put together with Dixie cups.
