well i was driving and recently i discover a crack in my radiator stem on the drivers side, and it was leaking. also my rear intake is leaking. ive replace the head and intake gaskets recently. and i have been driving around w/o a thermostant and its all good until i get on the freeway. so installed one today and the temp goes from 150-250+ and goes up and down. i also have a buncha red rust crap in side my radiator.

Justin, you keep driving that truck like that and you are gonna fry that motor again!! I suggest you fix the radiator problem and intake problem together, because once you start to build pressure, either the intake gaskets or radiator is going to get worse!! Unless you have ran Dexcool and replaced the antifreeze, that red stuff is rust, and its probably all inside the engine and radiator. FLush the system with a good flush liquid like Prestone and try to avoid running the water thru the old radiator so that you dont keepcontaminating the rest of the system, replace that radiator and gaskets, go with a new tstat and new antifreeze and hoses if possible!!
