I have had both Husky and Weathetech. weathertech covers more, directing fluids to the door sill but are very hard under foot.. I bought Husky's for this tahoe and like the one's i had for theTBSS they are softer under foot, and if anything is still stuck to your shoes ie mud, snow, whatever, it will be confined to liner.. BUT.... when getting in and out of the truck (applies especially to younger kids in the second/third rows) the Husky liners lack of coverage on the edges (near doors) will never make vacuming the truck out obsolete lol

i would like to see some installed pictures of these too if possible. The digital ones look really nice and look like they would make vacuuming a thing of the past.

I have always used the Husky Liners in every truck I have owned and gave a set to my parents for their Silverado for Christmas last year. I bought the Weathertechs for my NNBS Yukon Denali and think they are both abetter design and look better. I agree on the coverage... they actually cover the door sills and made in the US to boot.

I also have them in all my cars, they work great. The frist day I installed them we went out for a ride and my youngest child spilled her strawberry milk all over them, not a single drop made it into the carpet. I will also purcahse them for my next car.

the drivers side mat tends to slide foreward becuase it does not have a hook/screw to hold it in place.

I was wondering about the driver side without the hook as to how well it would stay in place. Right now I have a old set of Catchall Xtreme's from my truck in the Tahoe so I will still be getting these next month for the whole vehicle.

im looking into some weathertech for the tahoe, as i have them in the GX, but was wondering if anyone has them for the cargo area who also has the third row/2nd row buckets.

i want to get the weathertech for the cargo, but would have to remove the third row. I think it would be cool if they made cuts/lips for the third row to be left in. Meaning install the weathertech then put the third row back in! might have to give them a call and see about some custom work :)

I have the cargo liner and it comes with spots that you just cut out for the 3rd row seats. I've used it w/ the seats in too. I'm planning on getting a bit of something to see if I can get the pieces that I cut to go back in (velcro or something, but I doubt it will work well). The good thing about the cargo liner is that I can put the 3rd row seats back in and it acts as a floor mat for the 3rd row, but the bad thing (aside from the cutouts) is that I just don't think it fits very well. I'm not very impressed with it for the 100+ price. Maybe I'm expecting too much, but the BMW branded cargo liner and floor mats that I had in my x5 felt like a lot better quality and had better fit than than does. I'm actually getting ready to fire off a letter to Weathertech about my disappointment. I have been holding off on getting their floor mats after I saw the quality of the liner. Now, don't get me wrong, it is A LOT better than having nothing back there. A LOT. I just don't think it lives up to the quality I was expecting when reading all the great things people have to say about Weathertech.

^ let me know what they say. when you cut yours, did you cut out pieces? wonder if you could just make slits so when you take out the seats they kind of fold back together...

The guy at the shop actually did it. The plastic/rubber isn't very thick, but it is pretty tough. He had done it enough times, that he did a pretty good/fast job. I think that if you did slits, they might eventually break off or rip the plastic, but that's not a bad idea either. Like I said, it's a lot better than nothing back there, but I was just surprised at the fit and such for the price
