I had a weak battery in my 05 Escalade and swapped it out last night. Prior to that all was normal.

The first time I drove it today the car was really hot inside. I turned the AC system to the dash vents and found the heater was running. Turning the digital climate controls from 60 to 90 and back to 60 several times did nothing to change the temperature. The system even shut itself off a couple of times as I was playing with it, going to a blank screen like when you push the off button.

I ended up driving it anyway to a friends house for dinner, when I left all was back to normal with the A/C system. Normally I'd be worried about a stuck blend door but this occurred immediately after swapping the battery during the first two run cycles.

Anyone ever seen this behavior before?
