Anthony, What does your 2-Way alarm remote look like? If someone hits your windshield does it have a little picture of a car on it and show where they hit it at?

I have been looking Into Clarion 2-Ways as well.

Did it have a factory alarm? I take it from reading multiple posts about these situations that the factory system is useless? Sorry to hear about yours 89chevy.

Nope, $1000 deductible for theft on our insurance. I will get an alarm for sure. AND YES THE FACTORY ALARMS ARE USELESS!!

I feel for you bro! I had the same thing happen to me only not as much damage. And it happened while I was at work, parked IN FRONT of the bldg on the street...only feet away from the front door. They punched in my drivers door lock, breaking the handle and yanked out my stereo... Luckily thats all they took seeing how I had an ****** radar stuck on the window, blue tooth headset in the cup holder, amps under the seat and subs in the back.

I was able to get a handle and cylinder for around 180 bucks or so from a local dealership. First thing I did was get a Viper alarm.. Got that for around 200 and installed myself.

Factory Alarms are useless for the fact that they will only go off in these trucks if the door is opened...I can smash every window in the car and climb in and it WONT GO OFF!!
