this is why I DONT sell lowering springs to these trucks same as someone asking about relocators. This isnt the first time this has happened. Stock shocks arent the best to lower on at all on the autoride trucks. Ive already had a few come in with a busted struts from doing this set up on it (springs)

The dealer WILL say its because of the item since shock stroke is affected ie shaft farther into the shock. Spindles or a arms they wont since nothing get changed on shock stroke in front.

im sorry to see that happen to you but at least you can say you tried it :)

Nope, that wasn't me who said that. (It was someone with a Denali who said that.) I wasn't trying to go the "cheap" route -- I was trying to get only 1" of drop up front, and this appeared to be one of the only ways to do it.

honestly i change out both struts when i get a customer that this happens to. Change out both and think about 2 inch spindles or 2 inch djm a arms. That way you wont have to worry about shocks going at all.

I know you wanted 2 inches but one more inch in the front wont be that bad.

Did you mean that I wanted 1" 'Cause that's all I wanted -- but, yeah, 2" wouldn't be the end of the world.

Are the A-arms a MUCH easier install than the spindles, or is that just the way the instructions make it sound?
