I knew I would jinx myself with planning all these upgrades for FrankenBetty and sure enough, today the rear brake lines decided to let go. Kinda glad my hubby was driving it. We are going to replace everything with stainless steel lines. Found a kit for the 2 door 4WD. It comes on Friday but it is the last weekend of general gun at hunt camp and we'll be there, so I guess the 25th we will tackle this. Anyone done it? Any hints? How much cussing and tool throwing should I budget for??

Sorry, no idea (yet?). I’d think the normal routine of soaking the connections in PB Blaster or similar and using the correct fitting wrenches should do ya.

I changed my fronts over to Power Stops and checked the drums and bled everything without major issues.

The plastic retainers for those lines though may be a different issue!

Well it's just the left rear that blew, so hopefully that won't be TOOOOOO difficult however, I know how this Frankenstein truck is. It just wants me to push it in the street and start a bonfire somedays and other days, I'm in love. So fickle.

I know that feeling all too well!
