This morning I entered my car and found that under my drivers mat the carpet and padding were soaked! It has been raining here in central FL the last few days. I have owned my 07 Yukon for 2 years and have never had this happen before.
Recently I had my vehicle broken into in which the thieves broke out my driver’s window and it was replaced. This is the only thing different with the vehicle since the last rain storm.
So any ideas where the water could be coming from?

I had the exact same problem in my Escalade. After talking with a few people, I think the problem was a clogged drain under the wiper cowling. Not sure if your is the sdame, but it sounds like it. You have to make sure you get the carpet dried out or you are going to have some smell problems.

Is the truck parked on a hill/at an angle? That will help diagnose the problem. I, too, had a clogged drain problem (but I park with the right side lower than the left, and my problem was on the passenger side front footwell. (I also think that line might run on that side.)

Do you have a sunroof? Seems to me that a clog in that drain line can be the issue.

But, also, maybe something wasn't sealed properly when the window was replaced. Can you put a towel or something along the bottom of your driver's side door bottom and see if it gets wet there? If so, maybe something wasn't sealed as it should be.

The truck was parked on a level surface, I am going to dig into it later tonight and find the drain and check that out. Does it run under the carpet padding on to the floor board?

Rob -- I really don't know where it runs. Sorry. Someone else may know, though.

Ok I pulled the carpet up as best I could and have the fans going on it. While I had the carpet up I had a buddy hose down everywhere possible and no water found. Keep coming with any ideas you all may have, thanks for the help.

95% of water leaks we fix at work are from a clogged drain under the wiper cowl. Pull the wiper arms remove the black plastic and look for trash inside.

Could it also be a crap install job with the new window? Sounds more like that was the issue then anything. Grab a hose and put water on the driver side window/door and see if any water leaks through. If it does, there's your problem.

Well I was never able to determine the cause of the wet carpet, but I have not had the issue reoccur. BUT today while driving (rained last night) I hit the brakes and heard water in my driver side rear seat door. So when I stopped I moved the door and could hear water in the bottom of the door "sloshing" around. After the vehicle sat, I could see water draining out the bottom of the door, and it was all gone 2 hours later when I came back to the car. So is this normally? Any Ideas??
