What Aftermarket Interface do I need?

I have a 2000 Chevy Tahoe LT, w/ OnStar, Non-Bose, w/ factory sub. I am planning on installing a Pioneer head unit, and was told I need an interface for the OnStar and Keyless Entry/Security. A local shop said a pac os-1 will work for the OnStar, but nobody can seem to tell me if I actually need one for the Security/KE, and if so which one I should use. Does anyone here have any info on this?!? Thanks for the input in advance!

I'm not sure about an interface but all I needed was a wiring harness for my jvc head unit install. It was a single din though, not sure if it makes a difference or not.

My truck too has onstar non bose with factory sub (00")

It will not affect your keyless entry. That's a completely different circuit.

Thanks guys, I appreciate the input! Got a small project done today... new MB Quart Z Series components...... cant post pics right now.... I tried. Front doors was a lot easier than I thought.

Actually, I havent replaced the head unit yet. Upon investigation, I discovered that my front door speakers and my sub are all completely blown. So I replaced the fronts ladt night. Much better, more work is needed but overall a huge improvement. Ill update here as I do more, hopefully with pics if itll let me post them.

So, looking at replacing the head unit finally. Still dont know what interfaces I need. I'm pretty sure I need an onstar interface, like a pac os-1. Ive been told I need a keyless entry/security interface. Does anybody know if this is true or not?

It will not affect your keyless entry. That's a completely different circuit.
