At first I was wondering WHY we would have a Thread like this here on the TYF? Why do I or anyone else need to know? Then I thought it was an age thing, as the OP is 21. But the guy who suppossedly stole this stuff is 45???????? is this world coming to?

I was going to go off on this guy when I read his post, but I saw his age and was hoping it was a bad attempt at being funny or sarcastic. If he actually did steal this stuff then I hope since he is dumb enough to put it on here he gets busted. You don't **** with other people's cars.

Actually, I'm in a unique situation. My truck is registered in Utah and is parked at my home in Virginia, so I trend to find I can get away with a bit more, i.e, tint, etc. Utah allows darker tint (Tahoe it's not tinted), whereas the party of Virginia I'm in doesn't have emissions requirements. The only thing I will admit to having illegal in my truck it's a radar detector. Virginia doesn't slow them of they are easily accessible. I have mine remote mounted. It would take me over 20 minutes to unhook it. Last time I got pulled over in Virginia was in my Cobalt SS. He saw the radar he made me unhook it. I went to court over it. The DA dropped the charge over my radar detector because it took so long to remove. As for why I was initially pulled over: tint on my back windows was too dark ends the cop thought I had Virginia tags when I passed him (both states have/had white tags with dark blue lettering). I was not cited for the tint.
