Depends on whether or not the axle is still usable. I'd suggest taking off the diff cover and figuring out what's broken. The diff blew up and seized up? Gear teeth broke off and seized? Did the axle shaft break? ....

Might be quicker and easier to get a whole axle from a junkyard/craigslist. Setting up a new gear set in the differential typically requires a professional to do it.

You might want to think about swapping in a stronger axle like a 6 lug 14-bolt semifloat out of a 2500 series truck.

^Lol yes that's an option. Like someone above said, junkyard might be a good choice. If you havn't changed the gears because of the lift, just check your RPO codes to find out what ratio you have and buy a rear end with the same set. I also recommend changing u joints since the rear shaft is out already. Even though that wasn't on purpose haha.
