Maybe the glove compartment door has been replaced with RPO codes that are not for this rig.
I've double-checked the VIN tag under the windshield, on the door, on the RPO tag, and against the title... everything lines up. Carfax came up as clean and nothing related to any sort of paint or body work, just the normal maintenance/repairs. I've even run the RPO through Compnine and all features/codes match up but oddly enough it's telling me the exterior is Dark Spiral Gray Metallic.

Rare rig, worth MILLIONS!
Yep, just living the dream over here!

The other thing that is odd is I can't find a single source to show 771J under the name Sandalwood was even a paint option for Yukons that year. I've cross-referenced half a dozen sites and even looked at a brochure for that year and nothing in terms of Sandalwood. Just weird.

I googled "2002 711J GMC" and Sandalwood came right up.

Is that on your RPO sticker? The one you posted cuts off one of the 6xx codes.
Yeah it was a 62U code. No clue why the photo got cropped a bit when I uploaded it. So now I have an 02 with contrasting paint codes, neither of which was supposedly offered that yet both were used elsewhere in the GMC lineup....clearly, I don't have a Friday car but one built at around 11pm on a Saturday night.

Does your paint have metallic flake in it?

It looks a lot like my 2012 in my sig, which is "Carbon Flash Metallic", paint code 501Q in 2012.
There's definitely metallic in it and only asked the question originally as I was aware of 62U code as I have an 06 Envoy with a 62U RPO code that's accompanied by an 805k color code number called "Carbon Metallic". Interestingly enough when I had to get a touch-up pen for a few rock chips on the front of the hood its sold under "Dark Spiral Gray Metallic" with the 62u 805k label as I've attached below (you can see the 62u if you zoom in on the pen itself).

I've seen your color before and yours definitely has a much darker black/deep gray appearance whereas the "Carbon Metallic" has a bit more dark navy/purple in it in contrast not to say that there's a lot of it, just more of a subtle thing that's hard to pick up via pictures.
