About 14 months after purchasing my '15 Tahoe LT, I have just about everything done that I set out to do when I bought it.
-Got the LTZ grill as I don't like the black grill
-Really dislike the gold chevy bowtie. Not a fan of the color in general. Bought black bowties for front and rear (and a sticker for steering wheel). Had the front painted with the Spartan logo (my alma mater, and I host our tailgates out of my vehicle).
-Installed VLED fog lights. Replaced parking and reverse lights with VLEDs.
-Got the morimoto HID kit installed, with capacitors.
-Got the front valance cut down so I can reasonably park/drive and not worry about it scraping on a parking block.
-Hooked up a phone mirror system, originally for my Galaxy S5. Wired it through the center console and built a false floor to the console to hide the wires. Recently (today) had to change this and rewire for my S7. I now will use a Roku hidden beneath the console floor to mirror.
-Bought the VIM harness off of Amazon and installed it. Works great and today I was driving around streaming the Tigers/Jays game on my front LED screen via Sling mobile app on my phone.
-Finally needed new tires, so I upgraded to 22s from the stock 18s and put on replica CK164s.
The one thing I still would like to do is install some sort of keyless entry and push button start. I hate having to carry around a key and pull the fob out. Anyone have any ideas for this?
