Debadged it then took the little one to the park. First time I had a chance to see the front end from a distance since painting the bow tie:

We'll be in town tomorrow and I plan to pick up a cheap buffer from Hazard Fraught and some polishing compound to buff out the small remains of ghosting left from the debadging. Gonna buff the hood and some small scratches where Jenn swiped a low limb a while back. Might risk a trip through Walmart to pick up some oil if they still have any.

Ordered a set of AC Delco iridium plugs thru Advance Auto using their 25% off ($50 max) Cyber Monday coupon. Got free shipping also. Plus AC Delco has a $3 rebate per plug going on through the end of December.

So basically, $7.99 per plug, $63.92 for a set of 8, $47.94 after 25% off, and $23.94 after the $24 rebate!!

I went to copy you and, according to ACDelco's online rebate form, the $3 rebate is for the "ACDELCO Professional Iridium" plugs (#F1000847143ACD on Advance's site) and not the "ACDelco Iridium" (#41-162 on Advance's site). The Pro's are $9.56 and "non-Pro's" are $8.49 from what I'm seeing. Maybe the price varies by region.

Not trying to piss on your parade, just an observance that I hope is an error on their part and your rebate is still valid. $24 is $24.

I use the #41-110 and they say professional in the descriptionb5cca6fe00e81e309dd0068b43024ce1.jpg

I saw that in the description but not in the title so I questioned it. I don't know if that's Advance's description and it's incorrect or what. And why is the "Professional" one so much more expensive and with a vastly different part number? Leads me to believe there's a screw-up somewhere. I'm still researching it before I drop the coin. I have until midnight, right?
