When I look up the part number it says quantity needed (1) so there's probably only 1
maybe is a different part number for second one? and if it is only one why would the mirror show OC

PER rockauto there is only 1 outside temp sensor, it does not show a 2nd sensor or part number, there is only a superseded number. If I understand correctly you added this part from a different year? if so the wiring or programming may also be different, if so then you could maybe add another sensor and wire it up or maybe patch it in to the existing one but that may change the ohm's or something and give a incorrect reading (just guessing). another member added one to his express van but I can't remember there user name at the moment.maybe is a different part number for second one? and if it is only one why would the mirror show OC
Me . But the mirror was from an 01-02, non Onstar, and I used only 1 temp sensor. It reads normally, and even says "ICE" when necessary.PER rockauto there is only 1 outside temp sensor, it does not show a 2nd sensor or part number, there is only a superseded number. it look like you have all necessary wires for temp to work.
Thats what I thought, easy swap, guess not lol
Most likely the problem is the BCM and not the wiring. What I mean is the BCM is programmed to send the info to the cluster instead of the mirror.
well I have a 2012 and the mirror doesn't show the direction or the temp it's all in the DICgot if from Ebay it was advertised as 07-13 Tahoe/Yukon
