My Denali has 134k miles, i hope the plugs were changed.
maybe I will check the #1 plug on the drivers side to see when I get home. The engine bay was really dirty... I powerwashed it so we will see what it looks like. It runs good at the moment.

I have 223,000 on my 07 and have no idea if plugs or wires were ever done on mine. Trying to figure out what plugs to get for it.

Tom, you missed an excellent opportunity to train up one of the kids! One of my mine did that work with my help, support and encouragement!
My kids using a razor knife on plastic interior parts isn't a good combination... Lol

On a side note, I was really surprised how clean it was inside there after I cut it open. There was a little dust near the bottom of the fins on that exchanger to the left, but I used a small flexible nozzle on my shop vac to clean that off. Usually when I pull the filters out on my 2001 all sorts of crap, leaf bits, dirt, etc falls out.

No pics yet but I took the spare tire, jack, and lug wrench off/out of the Tahoe todat as a weight reduction measure this afternoon. Its not really faster or any more race-car than it was before- but going over the pass on the way back to the coast I threw it around some corners and the tail end for sure follows the front end better. Thats the best way I can describe it.

Next task is to remove the bracket that held the jack, the winch that held the spare tire, and the heat shield between the spare tire slot and the exhaust- and then the spare tire delete will be complete.

I’m going to keep looking for ways to eliminate weight like this

Ac delco 41-110 iridium or 41-962 double platinum.
Yeah i know the numbers but I’m tossing the idea around about trying some of the new Ruthenium plugs. Hunting for MPGs. People on the lexus forums say they really smoothed out their engines on cold start but that could be drawn up to just having new plugs. Buddy has a miata and I’m trying to talk him into getting them because he only needs 4 haha

Hope you don't get a flat! That would suck with no spare.
