Got my Tech 2 delivered today and just sat playing around with it in the vehicle to get familiarized with it
the tech2 will do all kinds of stuff, you can get all the part numbers of the modules that are hard to get to, you can test all the channels on your bose amp, lots of fun stuff, lol

Spent a couple of hours driving around after trimming rear wheel wells. Set up the TPMS sensors. The 2/4 drop rides real nice. Haven’t even hit the bump stops without free travel mod.

I have to admit I didn’t care for those wheels at first but they do look awesome on your truck. They go perfect with that stance and color. Nice work!

When entering vehicle info, how do you know which product line to choose?
I select year, then LD trucks, then GMC then next screen has product line. I've tried them all, and only "1" and "2" lists our trucks and both appear to be able to run diagnostics/etc., but which one is correct?

I did scan and pull DTC's from all modules, looked at TPMS and Keyfob options, Radio amplifier tests, and found that my trans fluid life is at 37% ....lol

Where did you buy it from?

product line is associated with the vin code, on my 2012 I select "2", when I got mine I did a google crash course on how that all works, the vin identifier changes from product to product line on my 03 silverado it's one number off from what it is supposed to be and I only found that out by reading a technical note online, it's something like the 4th or 7th/8th character in the vin, If you google "tech2 manual" a lot of information will pop-up then I just cherry picked what I wanted to read/know, there is some little tricks to it like the drivers door lock controls other stuff so there is a sub menu for all that.

Got the oil changed, tires rotated and a multi point inspection. Got an answer sort of about my thumping in the floorboard. Either body mount or sway bar end links. The dealership couldn’t give me an answer because the equipment they would use to measure vibration and what not was out so where and I don’t have time to let them keep it longer. Plus getting a quote to just change that one body mount with labor was near 400 I’ll change the mount and then sway bar links myself.

I also got it washed and did a half ass job at waxing it. Too damn out out.
