I’ll have to look into it more. Just have to solve this coil whine issue. I have a hum when I unplug my phone from the aux cord.

As for these two qoutes I’m not sure what its on vs what its not on. I have an 07 that doesnt have the usb port in console or a center center channel speaker.
Edit: but it is an LTZ with Bose audio and Nav...

Yours is the same as my '08 Burb LTZ... it's the standard Bose amp not the LUX amp.

The standard amp is a 6 channel 9 speaker system...

2 front channels running the front door and A-pillar tweeters in parallel.

2 rear channels running the rear door and D-pillar speakers in parallel.

2 Subwoofer channels running the dual voice coil "subwoofer" in the center console. RPO code UQA.

The LUX amp is a 10 speaker system and is referred to on here as the "smart amp"... it can be communicated with via a Tech 2 through the canbus/GMLAN lines and has the center speaker in the dash... RPO code Y91.

So it is mic wires you cut? How does one tell if they have ANC? Was it only on the system that has the center dash speaker?
yes, cutting the mic wires in the center console was easier than trying to tear up the headliner to disconnect them, takes about 30 seconds versus tearing the headliner up wires can be patched back if ever needed plenty of room to do it. doesn't give any errors unless you scan the bose amp with the tech2 then it just tells you there is a open loop.

Would this take out the clicking when the radio is on Aux with nothing plugged in?

What about a squealing sound when using a phone via Bluetooth?

eh not certain on that, the bluetooth mic is separate from the bose mic's so if it's feedback from the cell phone being to close to the bt mic or something of that nature then it's probably unrelated, the clicking sound could maybe be from the ANC, when I added my subwoofer and still had ANC connected it would give me a loud humming noise and it would vary on the music level, if you turned the music down the hum would generally go away it would vary depending on the song, took me a bit to figure out what the hell was going on.

I see.

Just been trying to figure out why when my wife calls me from her vehicle I here a squeal reminiscent of when a radio getting interference from the ignition.

next time she calls hold something over the mic area (to block it) like a shirt or a rag or something and see if the noise goes away, have her do the same on her end.
