Started stripping the clearcoat of my LTZ 20s. Still have to do one or two more coats of stripper before I start polishing but they already look a ton better. Couple of corrosion spots I need to sand down and get polished out. Sorry for the bad follow up pick, it started raining so I put them in the building.

Before Pic/During/After

Didn't have a plastic scraper so had to use my son's beach shovel. It seemed to do the trick though!

Good job so far

Picked up some carbon fiber vinyl material to do my bowties. Love it on the wheels and steering wheel. Don't like it on the front and back, not dark enough. I took it off those two and they took some paint with them. Its all good though, I'll just get some darker, almost black carbon fiber material...

You need to remove the black puck on the rear glass. Mucho cleaner :p

Got my Esky 3rd brake light and put that bad boy on. Luckily for muah the color matched. What luck! Now I just have to get the appliqués painted to match. Pictures in the morning. It was too dark out.

who uses the glass??:chair:

Come to think of it about the only time I open it is to wipe the jam out :hmm:
Can anyone point me to some pics and maybe a thread where removal is discussed, I don't have a clue how.

Fishing string and a razor blade. It's only held on with double sided adhesive tape. Get string behind plastic puck and go back and forth (sawing motion) and it will come right off. Use razor blade to scrape off remaining tape then wipe the area down.

Fishing line and a 3m eraser wheel. You can soften it up with a hair dryer. Old pics but you get the idea.
