Ordered new lift struts for my liftgate. Apparently, they are no longer adequate enough to allow the power liftgate to lift itself. What is this world coming to where I have to lift that liftgate by hand???? panic.gif

I remember mine went out at about 70k. The problem is that the liftgate is too damn heavy IMO. One side went out so I just replaced both. Dealer wanted $50 each lol. Went to o'reilly and got both for $50

Yeah, I ordered two off eBay for $35. I've got 151+ on mine but not sure if a previous owner had replaced them before. It's possible that the struts on mine are original

This week I got around to Hotchkis front and rear sways, tinted 35% windshield, 20% front sides, 5% rest of vehicle, and my staple - whelen 90 watt hideaway strobes in fogs, waiting on 2 linear housings for behind the grill.

Tucked the momentary pattern change and main source switch in the ashtray space to keep it out of sight:

No bar, I did hideaway heads in fogs and the linears are tubed strobes in their own housing.

Try to get a preliminary video up at some point. Photobucket is mucking up the hosting.
