Maybe I will just peel the chrome.BTW brand new 2015-up Escalade ones are about $70 and they changed the ends to black so no more peeling chrome. I put one in my 02.

Nice. Didn’t know the 2015+ ones also fit our NBS.. sweet! Is the angle of the shifter about the same? That’s the only thing I don’t really like about my NNBS shifter. It’s a bit lower when in drive, etc.. angles further downward compared with the factory NBS one.BTW brand new 2015-up Escalade ones are about $70 and they changed the ends to black so no more peeling chrome. I think it’s about the same as the NNBS although I never installed one so I can only compare to the NBS. It seemed a tiny bit lower then my original one but I like it. The connector for the tow/haul needs to be cut off your old one and soldered to the 2015 one, just match wire colors for the 2 wires you need and don’t use the extra 2 wires for the + /- button. You can’t use that button, it’s for the 6 speed trans.Nice. Didn’t know the 2015+ ones also fit our NBS.. sweet! Is the angle of the shifter about the same? Yessir. I already swapped the wiring over to the NNBS shifter, works like a champ. I really don’t want the extra (useless) +\- on the stalk, but if it’s a better angle, I’d do it.
