Dryer I know what this issue is. Idler pulley.

Motor from what I can tell from service records I looked up is untouched. Just normal service. I can hear it knocking now. I started it up in the driveway after it cooled off. Its definitely from the driver side.

Ok, is the knocking from the top of the motor or the bottom? Once she cools off, pull the plugs, paying particular attention to 1 and 7 and also the fluids.

If an AFM lifter failed and didn't mess anything else up, it's wise to replace all of the lifters and it is SOP to replace the 2 or 4 lifter trays, the VLOM and update your driver's side rocker cover to the new style that doesn't let the engine burn so much oil.

If you want to delete AFM, myself and the fellas on here can help you out. Start a new thread just for this issue when you can and post up some pics of the plugs and if the fluids look abnormal.

Our dryer busted a belt a few weeks back, Amazon delivered the parts the next day and my daughter tackled it.

So I washed it. Fixed a slow leak on a tire. Tuned out dod and torque management. What a difference. Put my radio back in. Ain’t no one going to buy it anyways. Washed and cleaned the interior on my Holden and put it away for winter. Very busy day today.

And manifolds? Not headers? Got an audio clip or something?

I've got JBA Cat4ward (shorty) headers with no cats, a custom 2 1/4" Y-pipe (to regain the torque lost from deleting the cats) into a 30" body Magnaflow XL 3 chamber muffler and the factory resonator reinstalled to kill the drone it had at cruising speed.

literally sounds like it’s under the valve cover.

I plan on deleting it. My uncle knows an old racing buddy that owns a shop. Used to work for gm so he should know this issue. I’m waiting on a call from him. Only issue is the shop is 139 miles away. But I know no one near me to trust to give me a reasonable deal.

Nice. What year is that from?
15-20 GM full size SUV. The diameter of the outer wheel rim is larger and feels better in my hands than the 07-14 style.

I removed my factory one for a deep cleaning. It’s leather was very shiny and sticky. 8 yrs worth of eww.

I had the 15-20 wheel laying around and thought I’d try it.

Depending on what’s easier, I may swap out the coil spring on my 2012 with one from a 15-17 and make an adapter harness so the connectors on the steering column match up.
