Man the both of you are wrong. As long as you have a smartphone everyone is tracking you. Get over it. Big data is what runs the world now.
This.

Apple tracks everything. Google tracks everything. Every single app you install on your phone monitors and data mines us.

This is why when I installed all my Amazon devices containing Alexa in the house, and my wife got all pissy, I explained to her she’s already being tracked and monitored by her phone.

That sure beats wearing that stuff. Especially when it’s worn down your entire sleeve and inside your the rubber gloves you have on. Smells delicious and doesn’t seem to wash off for months. Buy yourself the Lisle transfer pump and/or the fluid pump designed to screw onto the top of gear oil bottles. Don’t buy the cheap one...if you want to know why (see the first part of this message).

Are those really the only two options? $87 for what amounts to a giant syringe with hoses, or $8 for junk.

What about an intermediate solution like this? I'd pay $32 for a decent pump. Not sure about $87.

ive had good luck with those red cheap ones even with thick gear oil pumped no problem. the ones that screw into the lid work, but straw is always too short and leaves 1/3 of it in there
ive thrown the thing into junk pile about 4 times planning on getting a good one, then i need one, remember its there and it works lol

When you change your transmission fluid it should be all black and sparkly looking correct? Ha! Holy smokes was I shocked and disappointed in waiting this long. Hell, You could mix the gear oil from either differential together with the Mobil 1 5W30 inside the oil filter and still pour out a cleaner, more clear liquid than the $hit I just sucked out of my transmission. Now I’m scared to drop the pan, but I know my Denali will thank me when I’m done.

*FYI: I did have a broken trans dipstick tube so how much of that dark tint is the result of dust and dirt from the roads?

Here is proof to any of the new owners or young guys out there who might consider “nah ill get to it later”, or “it can wait until the weather warms up”. Nope! I’m sure glad that I didn’t wait any longer on this fluid/filter change.

The truck ran smooth, I’ve never had any real problems outside of the harmonic balancer throwing things off and the “service stabilitrack” wiring issue.
The color of my trans fluid hadn’t been bad, no metal on the dipstick, but after that tube snapped off god knows what kind of crap it collected from the road, and how much dust/debris I blew into it while cleaning off the radiator & condenser...in addition to the block and engine bay.
Dropping the pan here in a few minutes. Fingers crossed.

Holy ******* shit LOL. I feel much better about my trans now. o_O:confused:
