What did you do to your NNBS GMT900 Tahoe/Yukon Today?

If you have cooled seats, you have a TED that also heats your seats. You do NOT have heating pads that the non cooled seats have. You have what looks like this:

that's weird because when I put it on heat the fan doesn't run like it does when it's on cool but the seat still heats up

here is the problem finding the part, it shows a passenger side bottom cushion heater (w/heated/cooled) but no drivers side, which operates exactly the same.

Bought two leather front seats for $550. Driver side has brand new bottom leather seat part.

When I had my driver's seat apart, which is heated and cooled, there was only the TED that either blows hot or cooled air depending on the current into the TED. There is no room for a heating pad if you have the perforated cooled and heated leather. It physically wouldn't fit.



When my heating feature was not working right, I found the wiring under the passenger seat burnt up. All I know is that now that mine is fixed, it feels like hair blow dryer is under my ass and back. The fan does run, but not as loud as when the cooled function is on. The ordering of parts is really confusing.

I don't understand why they show one for the passenger side when it operates the same as the drivers side, I am thinking that the seat pad must be smashed then.
how long did it take you to replace it?

@915_Tahoe Can you tell me the drivers side seat heater part number is
looks like there is different parts, one for the seat bottom and one for the seat back
mine has heated and cooled seats

Drove it home from a week-long stay in Tampa, Florida yesterday. She got us there in relative comfort, all around Tampa and surrounding areas, then back home with a 900-lb golf cart in tow- 1,858 miles from my driveway and back with no serious issues. I'm proud about how effortlessly she towed the loaded trailer while still managing almost 17 MPG at 70 MPH. I say no "serious" issues since there was that time it sputtered on low fuel and the cheap Chinese exhaust cutout is rattling like mad now. It's acting like the gear drive is loose. Probably a broken weld or something.
