My 6.2 goes 0-60 around 5.4 seconds, likely in the 13s, and I have to try hard to get it to break any traction. Running Michelin tires.

Ice is one thing, snow, slushy snow, packed snow is another thing.

Are we only talking about ice here?

Ice is for sure the most difficult and probably a problem even for dedicated winter tires without studs.

I would say the next worst is when packed snow is reduced to a thick slush. I find that it wont squish out from under the tires and acts like grease. That's always been the biggest issue for me here in Wisconsin even with really good tires.

On packed snow you can expect relievable traction response and a fairly constant drive. I found even my 22" Coopers work well on the packed snow.

The Greasy thick slush is terrible! The only thing I ever found that worked well on that was a narrower aggressive tire. My last ride had Goodyear Duratrac tires in 265/75-16 and the grease would squish out from under them and they would fling the rest.

The slushy stuff is what we just went through after a combination of 3-4 freezing rain layers and 10” of total snow in between. Then as it started turning to slush it was a trap for people pulling off the main roads that got plowed onto side streets that didn’t. People were making bad decisions and driving straight into a foot or more of packed ice/ snow that had turned into slush. I saw this kid in this Maserati drive straight into slush that was halfway up his hood and come to a complete slushed-in stop. It was funny as hell. I mean he was buried.6B73AF49-9514-4D0B-9410-95A886E8E855.jpeg26D5CAE8-3177-4507-85E7-668ED2B7BC83.jpeg
