Well the wife has decided to keep the Tahoe for now

So with that she had wanted a system in the thing for years I just made excuses not; but parts started coming in today. So here is the results (1 door)

Skar 6.5 in all doors, with Nico mat now to wait on the subs/amp to show up.

I didn’t do full coverage as all she wanted was subs anyway.

And it’s done. First time I’ve ever drilled holes in a good roof. Also first time using nutserts. Pretty cool.

Got the PPV its first spring wash. When weather gets warmer I will do a full decontamination and machine polish.

And enjoyed a beer in the process

Yeah my drinking has tapered off. Before kids I was a 5 night a week drunkfest.

Now I have to much going on to wake up and feel like smashed dogshit.

I think its supposed to rain today................but driving to work in a clean truck with the motor running right......priceless.

It’s always short lived but so worth it to have a clean truck.

Made extensive use of 4WD this weekend after it dumped nearly 2' of snow on us. Also pulled out 2 trucks - a newer F150 ecoboost and some older diesel F250 flatbed.

Very pleased with the snow performance of the Suburban and I'm glad we held out for one with the G80.
