Drove it back home from New Orleans, 1,415 miles total there and back. Didn't really drive it the week we were there, it just sat in the hotel garage and we either walked everywhere or caught an uber.
Couldn't find any E85, so only 93 octane (Mobil/Exxon) and the average mpg got up to 15.7. Four of us, cargo area full of luggage, cooler in the isle and big box of snacks on the second row left seatback (daughter takes over third row, son sits second row right and we fold down the second row left, behind driver and set snack box on it).
It didn't miss a beat, used cruise control set at 85 mph most of the time. Sometimes would have it at 90 mph. It needs a bath tomorrow, has bugs on the front, windshield, and on the back of the mirrors. Family slept off and on most of the trip. That's how smooth it rode even at those speeds, and it had no problems getting up to speed or passing.
So on another note (more of a pet peeve/rant), why do semi drivers take forever to pass each other? I mean, there will be a few of them in a row in the right lane doing 70 mph, then the last one will be doing like 71 mph and move to the left lane to pass the truck in front of him, but it takes like 10 mins to do it, causing traffic to back up behind him (speed limit is 75 for cars, 70 for trucks through Arkansas). Then, 30 seconds after that truck passes the one in front of him and gets over to the right, the one behind him, which he just passed, puts on his signal and starts to do the process over!! It's like they leapfrog!!
