Decided to replace the chrome strip on my back bumper. Long story short I could have done it without taking the bumper off. Using a trim tool it just pops off. I did find a busted blind spot sensor bracket that had a previous repair on it. I did a little more zip tie action and it should work better now.
Edit:
This strip was supposed to be a GM part but it clearly was not. It is a Chinese reproduction. One of the little tabs even broke off when I installed the clip. Not happy but it’s on there and looks ok. I will hold onto the original strip just in case I have to strip the chrome and paint it.
