no, I think the seal on the upper right area of my windshield is bad, I will get it replaced soon and find out for sure, nothing else it could be all the door seals have been replaced already, the water comes in and runs down the inside of the windshield

I had exactly that issue with my Jeep GC. It was completely invisible, but it would suck water into the passenger floor when wet outside.

I wonder if a technique used in the RV industry for leak detection would work; pressurize the cabin and soap the area. You could get a some pressure by running the HVAC blower on high with the fresh air intake open. In RV’s they use a portable blower.

When I had mine repaired the big chains like Safelite refused to re-seal the OEM glass, all they would do is sell me a new windshield. I found an independent shop and they took their time and successfully removed it, cleaned it, and reinstalled my factory glass. He did have a replacement on standby, because there was a chance they’d break it getting it out. Five years later and the repair is still good.

Sounds like Kali insurance must be less comprehensive than some; I’m insured in FL and glass is 100% covered with zero deductible. Get any crack or even a significant chip in front of the driver and it’s replaced with no out of pocket.

Comes in real handy driving western gravel roads with flatlander insurance!

That coverage is available everywhere. You’re paying for it though, even if it’s not an option on your policy. It’s like everything else I the insurance industry. They make money no matter what or they wouldn’t be in business. I haven’t used comprehensive in forever. The savings have amounted to a new car or two. Just can’t have any loans on your vehicles so I just pay cash, solves that problem. Last at-fault accident was over 40 years ago.

glass coverage is extra on top of my already high insurance, but I have a shop I have dealt with for the last 30 years he will do it for like $165
