Is there some decrease in MPG using corn? Maybe I’ll get to try some in my travels this summer. Corn juice is not common in FL.

Mud splash on the shock tower? No way Jose. The other day I was underneath and noticed oil weeping from the front diff on the driver’s side output shaft. That’s new, and I’ve been under it plenty. Did a check on the diff vent and found the little cap at the end (positioned atop the driver side strut tower) at least partially blocked. With Texas mud of course, the gift that keeps on giving.
Cleaned it out, blew air through the line, and added some more hose to extend it higher to the top of the engine compartment. I’d recommend that to anyone with a 4x4 that will get dirty. The OEM location is positioned to catch a lot of mud splash.
Id probably hazard a guess they are the same, except maybe the metallurgy is different a bit or Hellwig made them for AC delco....Okay, with all this Hellwig chat, I finally looked them up.
Bar for the front is 1-1/2”. Rear is 1-1/4”. Which is exactly what my PPV already has. Hmmm.
